Purple is not a color that is commonly associated with food. It's more often seen in flowers and artificial substances. I wanted to challenge these associations and make the color instead feel appetizing and refined. I did this by drawing inspiration from real-life purple foods and edible flowers for the menu items and illustrations and mimicking the spindly stalks of lavender plants in all the visuals.
